Laure Shang Covers “The Dog Days Are Over” In Alexander McQueen

March 15, 2013: Laure Shang covers “The dog days are over” of Florence and Machine in an Alexander McQueen’s fall 2002’s skirt. She sung this song as an return performance after she lost in the last round and left the show “I am a Singer”. But what a splendid performance! Bravo, Laure Shang!

  1. I loved her since she first appeared on Supergirls’ contest. Her winning as number one is considered rare if anyone cares to look at all top contestants’ backgrounds, Shang is probably one of the only girls who knows several languages. (She really does speak it well). I guess that’s how her music is so international, inspirational and even a bit experimental looking at the history of Chinese music scenes.
To be honest, when I first saw her on TV singing frère Jacque, frère Jacque…I became even more determined to continue studying French( I just started back then). And now, I graduated from University and one of the two degrees is in French. Isn’t that some kind of “a fan inspired by an artist” story that makes people cry? If it is, cry then, cause it’s real.
Seeing her on stage again lately, I am not only thrilled to see how far she has walked to stand where she is now, I am also reminded of my craziness during the summer of 2006, as if the whole summer only one thing happened.
